Events Promotion Form

Follow the instructions below to submit your event for promotion on UChicago’s main website and the UChicago News website, in the biweekly University e-newsletter, the UChicago Facebook page, and/or on digital displays across campus.

Please note, events promoted through these channels must be free and open to the public. For questions or comments, email news@uchicago.edu.


Basic information

Users must submit to events.uchicago.edu first. Please use the permalink URL at the bottom of your event page, instead of copying the URL from the address bar.

Promotional options

UChicago News is delivered on Tuesdays and Thursdays to students, faculty, staff, alumni and other subscribers. You may either promote your event as an event listing (text) or a free advertisement (visual).
Provide a time frame in which to feature the event; submissions are considered on a first-come, first-served basis and will be featured once.
Maximum upload size: 2MB
Ads are stand-alone images that must contain all relevant information. They are 552 px by 311 px and displayed on a white background. Text should be above 20pt font for legibility, and ads should be submitted as .png or .jpeg files.
